It’s that time of the year — holiday festivities have officially commenced. From November 7th to January 2nd, 2025, Loro Piana transforms Harrods into a realm of festive enchantment with Workshop of Wonders. This immersive experience marks both the holiday season and the Maison’s 100th anniversary.
This captivating takeover encompasses the Brompton Road façade, all 36 of Harrods’ windows, two pop-up stores, and a pop-in boutique, each weaving together tales of Loro Piana’s heritage, craftsmanship, and the artistry of fibers and fabrics.

The magnificent Brompton Road façade, an enchanting story of a fiber’s journey from cloud-like softness to exquisite cloth, captivates visitors with a 17-meter-tall holiday tree adorned with festive swathes of Loro Piana fabric. Like a magical tapestry, each of Harrods’ 36 windows tells a story: scenes from Mongolia to Australia and Italy reveal the Maison’s dedication to the world’s finest materials and the master artisans who transform them into coveted garments.
Under a warm, nostalgic 1920s aesthetic, these windows recount the journey of fibers—Vicuña, Baby Cashmere, and The Gift of Kings® wool—tracing the materials’ paths to Italy, where they become icons of refined luxury.

Inside, the Workshop of Wonders theme showcases Loro Piana’s craftsmanship in motion, featuring elaborate mechanical sets and marionette-inspired displays that celebrate the artistry of handmade products.
The workshop brings life to the Maison’s legacy, combining an ode to artisanship with the poetic beauty of nature’s materials. Each intricate scene is bathed in rich, warm tones of wood and hints of matte gold, echoing a timeless elegance and Italian exclusivity.

Among the highlights are two pop-ups that offer exclusive collections and interactive experiences. The Door 6 Pop-Up immerses guests in a world of cozy accessories and home decor inspired by Loro Piana’s artisanal workshops.
Highlights include Baby Cashmere scarves and socks, plush wooden animals, and a personalization station for the Grande Unita cashmere scarf. Meanwhile, the Door 9 Pop-Up is dedicated to holiday gifting and includes stuffed animal figurines, a Cashmere goat snow globe, and the chance for visitors to create their own festive decorations from Loro Piana’s iconic fibers.

Adding to the festive charm, the Newborn pop-in unveils a cozy, dreamlike world for little ones. Highlights include a special collaboration with Inglesina on an elegantly crafted stroller-bassinet ensemble, adorned in Loro Piana’s classic Suitcase Stripe motif and featuring a Cashfur Winter kit for extra warmth.

For home decor enthusiasts, the newly opened Loro Piana Interiors boutique offers an array of exclusive items, from plush throws and cashmere-blended bedding to beautifully crafted games such as walnut chess sets and travel-sized backgammon boards. The boutique celebrates refined living, with each item reflecting Loro Piana’s deep commitment to artisanal quality and luxurious textures.

As part of this centennial celebration, the Kids Collection boutique inside Harrods also opens its doors, offering stylish pieces for children that reflect the Maison’s dedication to fine materials and design.
